Such a quiet place to relax and restore. Loved all the areas (the common areas, outdoor area and the room). We stayed in the "Vintage" room and loved the concept. Staff are extremely friendly and approachable.

Celebrated a birthday. Very much liked the territory. Loved the pool outside although the water was cool for us. Dinner was great, the most delicious lasagna I have ever had and great red wine. The hosts were very welcoming.

We really loved the cozy environment of the house, the chill outside area was really unexpected and we loved it, the swimming pool was amazing, we really had a great time in Mendoça house and we cooked most of our food in the amazing grill. One of the annoying things of summer are mosquitos and flies, but the hosts left many citronella things to avoid them, we really like that. The house also has many table games and we enjoyed so much playing it. Location is perfect, supermarkets nearby, town is just 5 mins away by car, the river beach as well and go there is my great suggestion, you don't even need to bring an umbrella because there are many by free, the water is perfect for swim. We had an amazing experiencie there.

Ana, the hostess, is an extremely friendly and hospitable lady who went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We asked for breakfast every day and it was no trouble at all. Sober but tasty and fresh. The Humus Farm also offers some 'experiences' where we chose to participate in Friday Pizza night. Fresh pizza with their homemade dough, greens from their vegetable garden and local produce. Rich and exceptionally delicious. We very deliberately chose accommodation rather remote to make the most of the peace and quiet. This location, in Fernando Po, gave us exactly what we needed to unwind for 5 days. In an hour you are in beautiful Évora or one of the secluded beaches next to Setubal. Alcácer do Sal is also worth spending about 2 hours and is about a 30-minute drive away. Other than that, we obviously just enjoyed the estate and the pool. We had the 2 person accommodation and had more than enough space with this. You have everything you need to cook for yourself and if you do miss or need something you can just ask Ana, which we did when we needed a slightly bigger pot. In short, a stay we look back on with pleasure and can only recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a quiet location. Thank you Ana and family!

Lovely remote house on a working fruit farm in the country. Very peaceful and scenic with the most fantastic pool. Outside kitchen area covered and netted so a very nice place to eat on a warm evening. Comfortable beds and rooms all a good size. Hosts went above and beyond and helped in anyway they could!
