Not having visiting Cabanas for a few years we noted that the town has grown and developed quite a bit. More choice for eating out, but definitely busier as well. O Pomar is located a little outside the town, but within easy walking distance, with a few shortcuts available. The complex itself is really nice, bar and restaurant on site are both excellent, and the fitness centre is small but well equipped. The pool is very nice, but as the complex got busier, getting a lounger was not always easy. But the staff and other guests were great and it was fairly managed.
Casa Joana itself was excellent. More than enough space for our family of 5, balconies off each bedroom, each room ensuite, with a terrace to the rear - the kids did not want to leave. The accommodation was perfect - quiet and clean and excellent value. The team managing the accommodation were great to deal with. Highly recommended.

I think the main bonus of staying here is the wonderful reception you receive from the hosts,Marie and Ricardo .They make you feel part of the family and are keen to help in any way they can.The breakfasts are very social and are made with local produce.It goes without saying that they are delightful.as was the whole of our stay.

A little gem to relax after being in Lagos which was very crowded. Everything you need for a stopover, next time we will book a bungalow for extra space. You can use the wi fi by going to the pool. A lovely area full of bars and restaurants, ideal location for several days, next time we will stay longer.

Great all inclusive option. Lots of choice despite only one of the 3 restaurants on site being open (as out of season). However, we appreaciated it being more quiet at this time of year.

The hotel is good value. The staff are responsive. The rooms are great. The breakfast is hearty.and on top of it, they have a puanist entertaining you whole having coffee and dull breakfast. At the end of Fdbruary, the outside pool was too cold to swim, but they have an indoor pool, jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam bath.
Stayed for 1 month Jan Feb the apartment is great for long stays all you could need.
