Amazing views from the bedroom of the mountains and the rivers.
We had the king suite with balcony (worth the extra €€) comfy bed and bed linen. Spacious and bright bedroom.
The breakfast was amazing. Very good choice of savoury home made cakes jams local honey fruits etc…. again with amazing views over looking the mountains and river.
The two ladies that run the place are very special always smiley and kind. Fatima was so sweet and lovely. They don’t really speak English but it’s ok we understood each other.
The environment of the place is super quiet and peaceful.
The actual Quinta is an old wine estate full of charm and beautiful old.
There is also a lovely pool area which you can relax by.
Let’s not forgot the friendly Labrador who welcomes you with a tail wagging !!

My partner and me felt very comfortable and welcomed by the host, Paula. She was very lovely and welcoming. She was very helpful and flexible. The house was very comfortable and with a lot of amenities. We loved to stay here! The nature around was very beautiful.

Very friendly hosts with two cute helpers - a goat (Chanfana) and a labrador (Churchill) - who love to come and say hello in the morning. Great views, great walks and beautiful landscape. We loved it.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.

Excelent facilities. Peace in the countryside near the river. If you wanna rest or spend some time with your family away from the city this is your place. Everyone was very gentle. The meals were excelent (we eat Bacalhau na Brasa).
When I saw the rating of this guest house 9.x on Booking, I thought: “No, I don’t believe it, it’s impossible”. So, after staying for a week, I must admit - it’s for real.

Beautiful building, brilliantly restored. It’s in a very pretty little village and about 30 mins drive from very nice walks on the Geres National Park.
Very friendly welcome and the care given was top rate. Very relaxing place, with amazing views from the breakfast/restaurant eating area . We had a lodge, and the room we slept in had amazing views looking across the valley, through large windows. You do really need a car to explore the amazing region. Will return.
