Very good communication and helpful. Lovely room and gardens are beautiful.
We had hoped to get some food when we arrived as we had read that others had done so but there was a village fiesta and that seems to have made things difficult

Clean, very comfy beds, great pool, very spacious.
Despite the heat, the house was cool (no aircon but it wasn’t needed) as the bedrooms all have blackout curtains.
Our children loved the table tennis and table football, as well as all the outdoor space and of course the pool!! Plenty of shade provided in the form of parasols (if needed/wanted), and several sitting areas outside too.
The kitchen is well equipped and benefits from dishwasher and washing machine. BBQ was great (and included charcoal too!).
Arrived to some lovely local treats from the owner, which was a great touch.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
A beautiful heritage house, our bedroom in the main house was elegant and beautifully restored. The property is 25 mins from both Ponte de Lima and Viana do Castillo so perfect for touring the wine areas along the river. if you turn left outside the property and drive for 5 minutes you can walk in a Parque de Valinhas. The house is lovely and Antonio is a great host, make sure you see the family chapel. we stayed four days, going out all day and coming back to this lovely sanctuary every evening. a perfect stay.
