We had an amazing week. The house is really big and the hosts were really nice. They All the rooms were big and equipped with AC which made a massive difference due to the extreme heat in the area. They all have a wardrobe and in the living room next to the sofa bed you have a chest of drawers and a small bathroom and washing machine which is very handy. The kitchen is also well equipped and very big. It seems it has a table for 6 people only but if you look properly you'll see that the table can be extended to seat 8 people easily.
The pool was an amazing thing in this house. Super big and great to be in with the kids who have enjoyed it a lot. There is a small coffe shop down the road but apart from that the area is really quiet. There is supermarkets near by but still need to drive there as it is far to carry things. The house is a but far from the beach, we always drove there but a good thing is that there is plenty of parking in the beaches nearby and you can easily park at any time of the day. I have been to many different places in algarve but the beaches in this area are far better then Albufeira/Portimao/Quarteira etc.
Another plus was that here you will have a very quiet holiday without the craziness of bars and night clubs as it is a small village. You have coffee shops and small bars open at night but nothing crazy. This is the right place to spend and very relaxing time if you like quietness. I would stay here again :)

We arrived at our new holiday home and were delighted by the space available and the outside areas. Having two meant everyone could have their own space whether in the shade or in the sun. With both doors open there was a lovely breeze. The location was great and meant we could walk everywhere.

The house is in a perfect location. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the bus stop in Monte Gordo where you can catch the bus to nearby towns such as Vila Real de Santa Antonio, Tavira and even Faro. There is a Mini Preco supermarket a few minutes away. But best of all is the closeness to the beach where there is a boardwalk which stretches the length of the beach and is dotted with numerous restaurants and snack bars. The house itself is very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect from high quality self-catering accommodation and the Wi-Fi has very good speeds. Contact with the agent Nelson was via Watsapp and he was always available to answer any queries we had. All in all we had a wonderful stay in Mare Beach and would definitely stay there again in the future 😎

It was my first meeting with Portugal, The Monte de Lagoa was the excellent place for the beginning of discovering the Portugal.
The discreet charm of a former rural farm transformed into a tourist gem is delightful. Fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils, gas stove allow you to realize any of your culinary fantasies.
Two bedrooms, a cozy lounge, a spacious bathroom with a shower in the house, and an ocean view pool outside - all this allows you to comfortably spend time in this location.
Very cosy, great facilities and perfect for a family get away. Close to many areas where there is lots to see. Also great for visiting with dogs. Pilar is very nice she gave us some recommendations for our stay and made sure we were happy with everything.
Very idyllic spot with lots of charm and open space in which to enjoy the view and recharge the batteries. The location is perfect to visit nearby towns such as Tavira and Ayamonte and beaches if the weather permits.
Excellent stay all round. The staff were so nice and helpfull. Nothing was too much trouble. And even provided an early breakfast when we had to leave early to catch a flight. The rural location was perfect, being out in the countryside with lovely surrounding and views, yet only a 15 minute drive to the shops, restaurants and beach. Highly recommended
