This is an amazing place to stay at. It's peaceful, quiet, private, yet very close to everything you might need (a car is necessary though). The house is very well built and equipped with all the necessary utensils one might need, the internet is very good and the view is just spectacular. There was always communication on WhatsApp, as Tiago was available for any questions and some of the best part is the guide for the island. That guide, together with other maps and information regarding the island were extremely well done and extremely helpful. There is also a washing machine in the house, so, for extended stays it comes extremely handy.

Extremely clean and comfortable. We experienced some serious rain and wind while on Terceira, so it was great to retreat to our little cottage. Unfortunately our host was ill so we did not meet her in person. But fresh buns or bread arrived at our door every morning. And milk, cheese, juice and jam were in the fridge when we arrived. The house had everything we needed.

Terceira and their people... We can only conclude we will miss the island. The people are helpful, have a great hospitality, share their food and drinks, are honest and clean. We appreciated the big help of Mafalda. The Moinho was well located in a quiet village. We enjoyed the time inside. We had a comfortable bed. On a rainy day we had a shelter in the kitchen where we cooked and enjoyed a cup of wine. Best sleep in my entire holiday. We have no negativity on this stay. Mafalda is a great host! We would come back if we can.
