The Klein House is an amazing place to stay! We really enjoyed everything! Everything is super comfortable, feels really like a home away from home. Gus is baking rye sourdough bread and a lovely breakfast provision is in the fridge. Kitchen is well equipped. A choice of different teas, capsule machine, and should you be a pro even a proper espresso machine is available. Well, we will be definitely be back! We have stayed here previously hence the reason for our return. A wonderful location, quiet and peaceful yet only a short drive from the city proper. The fireplace, the little things such as the slippers, snacks and drinks for sale at a very good price range, the outdoor setting and deck plus space inside for several people. The hosts are absolutely lovely as are the neighbours!! There are recommendations for things to do, pamphlets galore set out for you to peruse. If you want a home away from home then this is for you.

What a quirky wee place. Loved learning about the history of the cottage. The eclectic collection of furniture/furnishings added to an interesting experience. The nearby Citadel cafe was super. Easy to drive into Wanganui to explore.
