This is a really comfortable cottage with 2 bigger rooms & one single room, one shared bathroom, and deck out from the lounge with a lake view. Wooden floors. Double glazed so cosy even though it was winter.
2 heat pumps (lounge & hall) and we enjoyed the wood fire . We were a group of three friends & it was great - private & great for cooking meals. 10 mins drive to Rotorua.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Very comfortable 2 storey apartment, full kitchen 2 bedrooms with aircon downstairs only and a deck onto a boat canal. Comfortable sofa and great WiFi. Loved the pool and hot tub despite the wet weather.
The setting of Ramada by Wyndham is idyllic. We were there as a family for a special birthday and enjoyed the use of the pool and spa area. They also provided us with a bbq which was great. They provide a lot of things for guests to use such as tennis rackets, table tennis, fishing rods and lots of games. My wife and I had dinner at the Club House the first night and found it to be excellent. Just be aware it is a 20 minute drive into Rotorua.
The lodge we stayed in was comfortable, had a full kitchen, and the bed was good so I slept really well. There were nice facilities onsite which we didn't use for various reasons. The restaurant wasn't open, the pool was a little chilly (Oct) and the tennis court was always busy. It was quiet in terms of traffic noise although that may have been because the main road was closed to ongoing traffic due to a slip. Although we didn't spend much time onsite we enjoyed our stay and would go again.
Staff and management were helpful and friendly. The location was just a short drive from the city. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. The hot tub and sauna were a great way to relax.
l will be booking this hotel next time we go to Rotorua and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going for a holiday. l have stayed in a few hotels in Rotorua in the past and this one is by far the best.
