Really different experience, very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely host, introduced at the start but didn’t intrude on the seclusion of the stay.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We stayed in a unit with a full kitchen, so we could make our own food and tea/coffee etc. Always cosy staying here in Foxton, close to all amenities, just walk across the road to the shop or cafe for cooked breakfast. Big carpark outside your unit, outdoor flow and spacious bathroom with a separate toilet. Most motels or hotels have a toilet in the bathroom.
Marama was so welcoming. Such a lovely hostess. The room was absolutely charming and the bathroom was modern & spotlessly clean. Just loved the bed. So comfortable & the sheets were gorgeous.
