If you’re coming back from a long hike in Nepal, this is the place to be. It’s impressive how all the staff feels very connected to the place and does everything to make you feel at home. You can find everywhere photos/ books about the story of Mingtang and how it all started. The garden is gorgeous and it’s quite silent, considering it’s in the city center of Pokhara. The owner is easily available and she can help you with everything, booking bus tickets, planning your day and suggesting restaurants. They make breakfast boxes in case you’re leaving early in the morning!

very quiet hotel which is very rare, there is silence both day and night, no extraneous sounds, you wake up to the singing of birds. hot water and wi-fi. the hotel is located in the middle of nature, 5 minutes walk to the lake, 2 minutes to the main road where there are cafes and shops. polite staff, I would have stayed here longer, but unfortunately the room smells damp because of the rain. and dampness on the walls. this is the only minus. but I had a very good time here and rested.

A good modern hotel with cozy and clean rooms. Conveniently located in a quiet side street near the shore of Lake Fewa. Friendly and polite staff, a very tasty breakfast is included in the room price. Comfortable bed, the presence of the necessary furniture in the room: a coffee table, a bedside table, stools, two mirrors, a cabinet and a clothes hanger.
Me and my friend Maria stayed at Nepali Cottage Guest House for many days during the last month and we loved it. The atmosphere is cozy and familiar, and the owner has been very helpful with us, like family! Also, breakfasts and lunch at Wendy's Juice Shop, connected to the guest house, are just amazing and the staff there is always friendly and welcoming.
The guest house is our safe place in Pokhara, so we really suggest to spend some time there!

I was looking for a place close to town but in the countryside for a short stay. Lakeside is too noisy, dogs barking all night. Himalayan Aama was what I needed. I was able to walk to the lake and hike up the hill, just be in nature and the village. The apartment is cosy wit ha good bathroom and good kitchen for 1 or 2 people. The family are helpful and have much local knowledge.
The little bungalows are basic but spotlessly clean with am en suite bathroom and outside seating area. The garden is beautiful, many flowering shrubs including a gorgeous night scented jasmine. Breakfast is served on the terrace or in your room. The three brothers who run the lodge are very kind and helpful, lent me a kettle so I could make my own hot drinks and gave me a lift to the bus park at a very reasonable price.
Very quaint, cosy and tidy, cottage like premises. Peaceful with well kept gardens a low rise, in an excellent location.
Maya and the staff are always very welcoming and go the extra mile to assist in any sight seeing needs. Breakfast every morning is fresh and varies. Services is always with a smile.

Gurcka lodge is based in a quiet garden located just off the touristbuzz. You have you own cabin with a veranda. Rooms come with furniture and hooks, and are well taken care off. Nice beds with clean sheets. The friendly owners offer a nice breakfast on request and look after you or your luggage.
