Imagine cozy cabin with classic grassy roof in the norwegian woods placed by the epic waterfall and surrounded by mighty mountains - so, this is that place. Absolutely amazing and in good price - exactly what we were looking for.
The heritage house is a thing of amazing beauty! The warmth, the decoration, the home-made breakfast, everything looks and feels great! Very cozy and hospitable environment, with free parking 20 meters away. The host was very kind and helpful and understanding. It's obvious that he takes great care of this house and everything around it. The dinner he offered was rich and tasteful, and he even chipped in a little extra for the kids, although we had only booked dinner for 2!
breath taking location. direct view of the lake. Property was so well equipped. Hosts were amazing. The little touches to the cabin show how much love the owners put into this holiday let. There wasn't a utensil the kitchen didn't have. The log burner and wood supplied by owners made evenings so cosy.
The weather was really bad on our arrival day and the owners came out to look for us ❤️ If your looking for peace and quiet next to nature, this is the place!
The location is insuperable. Surrounded by nature, it is a very calm and cozy place. The cabin was very friendly, with a private bathroom and shower, kitchen, etc... Very recommendable
Our cabin was spacious, really cosy, warm and very clean. We felt like we were the only people staying in the woods, ie were totally unaware of our neighbours. There was good equipment to cook with. We liked the shuttle service that took us to the start of the fossesteinen. We liked the plants on the roof so we couldn't hear the rain.
A fantastic cozy place in an astonishingly beautiful region of Norway. Settled along the Norwegian Scenic Route Gaularfjellet the hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere in an authentic setting.

Our cabin was so cozy! We had the medium sized one, with our own toilet, which we were really glad about since during our stay it was already very cold and dark outside. The whole place is located directly next to a stream and we could listen to a waterfall while having dinner we prepared in the small kitchen of the cabin. Fortunately, we brought our own cutlery, since there was none in the cabin.
We definitely recommend Hov Hyttegrend when you are looking for a quiet, special and cozy accommodation.
