This location at Jørpeland was unique. Beautiful house with a view of the fjord/lake with a lovely garden and cozy terraces everywhere around the house. The spacious house is cozy, clean, nice bedrooms, large bathroom with washing machine, and many windows with a beautiful view everywhere. We had a great time here, definitely worth renting this house. Greetings Frank and Marijke from the Netherlands.

Separate toilets and showers are provided that are not in the rooms. The kitchen is huge. There are also 2 very cute cats.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Fridge in common area and electricity in each “tent”/cabin. They have also built new toilets nearby. Firepit and wood available. Great facilities, also in the BaseCamp main building area with café and shops, but still the outdoor feeling.
Functional and clean. Do book the sauna, very good value for money, the price stated is for the sauna not per person. Bring some tape bring as we taped the mosquito net around the door so we could sleep with the door little bit open. We are both breakfast and dinner at the hotel.
Great facilities and a great location.
However, if you stay in a cabin, it can get noisy, making it difficult to get enough sleep. It’s very uncomfortable to hear other guests arriving late at night; you can hear everything, even at one o’clock in the morning.
Conveniently located at the Preikestolen BaseCamp. Small rooms with included wash basin and bunk beds, shared bathroom and toilets. Everything was clean and cozy. Large and cozy common rooms. Free parking for hotel guests in the BaseCamp parking spaces.
A small, cosy apartment, perfect for a short stay if you are planning a hike nearby. It has a washing machine (we didn't try it, but detergent was available - major plus!), flat TV, heating and other equipment. The beds are super soft and comfortable. We could park our car for free right at the entrance.
It looks really nice and the breakfast was really good. The rooms were clean and the location is perfect. After an exhausting hike you can relax at the sauna at the lake or just enjoy the warmth inside.
comfortable room, bathroom/shower like new, restaurant has good food, Preikestolen hike is right outside, bus service to the door from Stavanger, cozy common areas
Fantastic lodge with a stunning view. Great way to start your hiking trip. A lot of activities are offered before or after hiking. I totally recommend the Sauna with a refreshing dip in the cold lake.
