Lovely little hut in the backyard. Very clean and designed with attention to detail. Nice interior and the cutest neighbors (a bunch of chicken). John was an exceptional host. Very kind and always smiling. We took the train into Amsterdam one day and explored the little towns along the coast the rest of the time. It's the perfect place if you want quiet but not miss out on the bustling Amsterdam.

This is a very wonderful place, quiet, where you can relax from the bustle of the city. The 2-storey house has everything you need from furniture to dishes, as well as a small terrace. Nearby (about 20 minutes walk) are supermarkets, and a little further is a beautiful park and a street with shops and cafes, as well as a gorgeous view of the sea. Tom and Jennifer are such sympathetic, hospitable and kind people who helped us in many ways and for that we are very grateful.

Fantastic place. The house is beautiful, very well-kept and very clean and fully equipped with necessary accessories for everyday use. The hosts are very warm and helpful, respecting the privacy of guests. I'm very pleased with my stay. Medemblik is a lovely town with wonderful people.
