We loved staying at Bovenhaar. The accommodation and hosts were very welcoming and we had everything we needed - comfy bed, big warm bathroom, coffee and tea. The whole area, especially the forest behind the property is definitely worth a visit. We connected well even with the curious chickens.

The place is great for relaxation for those looking for a quiet( I really meant it ) very quiet, away from the noise of the city. The center of the village is about 10 minutes away by car, where restaurants and a shopping center are located.

Great that accommodation was away from the very hectic centre of Giethoorn. Very friendly welcome, lovely place to stay.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The accommodation is very cozy, the kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. The owners were very friendly. Good location: near highway and touristic places.
Cosy and completely independent room like a small house and terrace with farm view with horses.
Owner is very kind, I broke the coffee machine unfortunately..but she just replace the spare one immediately. We really appreciate it.
