When we drove into the village, we were met with a tulip field, right next to the house. Couldn't have asked more for the location.

The hosts Marijke and Evalien were lovely people, very friendly and accommodating and even Fleck the Jack Russell eventually made friends with us. The location was excellent - close to our friends house and not far from the supermarket. The accommodation was very well equipped and comfortable. The adjoining garden was beautiful and peaceful. We wish we had stayed for longer this time but we will definitely be returning to this beautiful property.

It is a very beautiful house. We had a lovely stay there.
The beds are very comfortable, there is a nice dining area and a kitchen with everything provided we needed for our stay.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
This is just a perfect hotel overlooking the harbour. The rooms are small like cruise ship cabins but very well designed and comfortable. The breakfast and service in the restaurant is excellent.
The staff is incredibly kind and sweet!
Jur is such a nice funny guy that made us laugh and Lisa was a pure, kind hearted ❤️ really a unique duo of staff that really made our stay incredible!
The structure is adorable, very clean, cosy, 5 minutes walk from the train station and perfect for a few days stay.

The rooms were brilliant and had both a rain shower and spacious bath tub.
I enjoyed the fact they had a nespresso machine in the room with a choice of different pods.
The restaurant had amazing food and great value for money.
On the 14th floor was a pool , sauna and jacuzzi.
What was also brilliant on the 1st floor was a full size Vue cinema showing the latest blockbuster movies.
All of this in one hotel is why I will be returning and recommending this.
The owners were so kind and helpful. The property has been restored to keep in with keeping of such an old building. We loved the church too. It was really clean. It is a great position to explore Hoorn so close to the station and parking nearby.
