Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We were glad to stay in the house of Bart and Christianna. Comfortable cozy house with beautiful views from any window, close to the sea (if you have a bike, of course :-)) The owners kindly provided us with their bikes for a walk. But it's great to be a guest and feel like a part of the local cycling culture. Thank you Bart, thank you Christiane, you are lovely people.
