Great location not far from shops, banks and beach. Beautiful setting in enclosed garden. Absolutely helpful host and caretaker. Spacious, comfortable cottage. We returned to the Cottage gardens on our way home adding an extra night.

Great place - it really is the whole villa so very spacious. There is a lovely private swimming pool with deck chairs. Yasith and Soma were there to meet us on arrival and came every morning to cook breakfast and clean. One night Yasith organized an amazing BBQ - a nice change from going out to restaurants. There are 2 separate beaches only a few minutes' walk from the villa.

The welcome from the family was amazing! Greeted with a cold towel and an iced tea, then given a tour of the property, which has been finished to a phenomenal standard. If we could score it more than 10 we would. This is the nicest property we have ever stayed in.
We chose to have breakfast on our first morning and Mom didn't disappoint! A massive spread and really tasty Sri Lankan food. Thanks Mom!

"It's a hidden gem with lovely furniture. All the supermarkets and grocery shops are within walking distance. The place is spotlessly clean and well decorated. The two-bedroom apartment is immaculate and has a very cozy balcony. The host is also very helpful. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with a stunning sea view. The same owner also has a restaurant, so if you stay here and want to order food for delivery, you can get that as well."

The room itself was quite modern and cozy. The a/c worked fine, and the way to the beach was short. The manager was really friendly and helped me very nicely on my first day! He even arranged an early morning arrival and quick cleaning of the room. Although that solace is just around the corner of the big street, it’s quite quiet in the room at night. You’re sharing a common kitchen and living room area with three or four other rooms. But you can easily lock your door and stay for yourself if you prefer.
We highly recommend this guesthouse! Its spotless clean, the room is spacious and very cozy. You can hear the waves from the room. The staff is amazing- always eager to help and super friendly. We also liked the breakfast options!
