Our host was so welcoming and attentive to making our stay memorable, and it was a pleasure to stay in his Korean house (rather than a big hotel). The breakfast was adequate and we enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room!
It was easy to catch the bus from near the house up to the Seoraksan Park and in the evening we got a taxi into Sokcho which wasn’t expensive.
Take up his recommendations - the grilled fish restaurant in Sokcho was fantastic and a real experience.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Really lovely hostel. Great character to the place, cosy common areas, super clean, and incredibly helpful and friendly staff and host. Also in a perfect location for access to beaches, food and Seoraksan National Park.
Very helpful host, especially in the less international tourist city of Sokcho-si. The hostel has a cozy, nice vibe. The location is just 2 minutes from the bus terminal to the national park, making it very convenient. It's also easy to make friends with the other guests here.
Yoo is an amazing owner! He is always cheerful and will help you with all the question you have. You have your own room in this hostel, but the main lounge is very cosy and a nice place to meet other travelers. The bus terminal is only 5 min. away and the bus to the national park is also within 5 min.

The Host is super nice. On arrival he gave me a lot of recommendations for food and places to visit. Also he explained about the possible routes you could take to go hiking on the Seoraksan!!! The hostel is also very cozy decorated, love it. Definitely would come again!
The recepcionist Yoo is a charming, warm and helpful person. The hostel belongs to the cozy, comfort places with good location- ideal for the conquest of the Seoroksan National Park. I definitely recommend this accomodation, I would choose it once again. Greetings for nice and interesting people met in the hostel- from Belgium, Philippines and Israel.
The owners were so kind, the rooms are cozy and charming, the location is very good (quiet but close to the beach... with the door open you can hear the waves), hotel is stocked with anything you could need or want, their dog is so precious, and the rooftop terrace is a great feature. Thank you for everything! I will stay again.
The host is very helpful. He helped us with all information we needed. He found several vegetarian restaurants for us in the surroundings and also helped to build a program according to our needs. He also has a very good English. The room is beautiful, clean and comfortable. It is located in the countryside so very quite and beautiful. We also appreciated the hot tub in the room.
