We needed emergency accommodation after our flight was cancelled at boarding. It was about a 30 min taxi from Narita International Airport. We were greeted by a young man close to midnight who welcomed us and got us settled.
The home is a beautiful traditional residence, located in the countryside, with basic necessities provided.
Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to explore the area as we had to return to catch a rescheduled flight the next morning, but a wonderful experience. Personal transportation would be beneficial for longer stays.

We had a great stay at Mahinahio holiday home. We booked on the day of arrival, very soon received the check-in information and were able to access the house with no problem. There are multiple options for parking right in front of the house. The house is spacious and offers both classic beds and futon beds.
