The host is very nice. He picked us up at the bus station and drove us back when we left. The apartment is spacious and has it's own private hot spring :D laundry hanging was prepared and we could wash our stuff, which was brilliant. The neighborhood is quiet, which we liked very much, even if it is a 20 min walk into the village center.

We stayed in cabins, it was good and specious..But was not cleaned properly..
These are away from the main hotel, so it's a distance to walk..I believe they provide transportation to come to main building, but I didn't use it as we had our bikes..They have a natural onsen but indoor which you need to pay extra, it in the main building. It was a good experience..I was expecting an outdoor like the picture shown, but couldn't find it..
The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and spoke great english. The food was amazing! Since we weren't familiar with the cuisine a staff member explained all the small dishes to us and gave us recommendations for the beverages. The room was cozy and clean. The main centre of Kusatsu is a 5-10 min walk away.
It’s cosy, very clean and a set up like the local home experience. I have a short stay however, it’s wonderful. Thank you for the informative guide around the village, also helpful staff accommodating to my late check in
The location is away from the main tourist spots in Kusatsu Town, and there were options to take shuttle bus over. As we drove there, it wasn't an issue. Loved the feel of the nature that the hotel is set in. There were several activities available that you can enjoy at a discounted rate as a guest of the hotel. It was fun trying out the archery. Hope to come back and try out the lodge cabin accommodation next time!
I booked a log house bungalow which is a entirely fresh experience from the usual hotel room. My wife and I felt like vacationing in our own holiday home with the cozy and home feeling. Everyone with own car should try it.
Very warmly welcoming and friendly personnel, attentive care, helpful service. Cosy, well-managed hot bath sections (two), which were easily available on-demand. Both of the baths are big enough for 2-3 persons. We had a spacious and well-equipped room suitable for three persons. Clean and very quiet. Comfy yukatas and thankfully one larger sized one for a bigger-size North European guy😀Fantastic breakfast, which was different every morning! A charming yakiniku restaurant nearby and importantly a 7-11 as well. Big thank you!
