The host was very welcoming, smiling and helpful. The house is very charming, very well located, you can do a lot of things on foot if you want. I felt very good during the stay, the room was very comfortable, the house was very clean with everything necessary available. The host was very clear in his explanations of the rules of the house. We love the Japanese room. (The futons were very comfortable.) The shared dining / living room was also very charming with old Japanese house feel. The shared bathroom and toilets were also very clean. The staffs were very friendly. We love all the little turtle decorations and also the selection of complimentary teas available.
The owners are so sweet! Really nice vibe, small and cosy. Very clean and modern. You do everything by walking around, even walking to the center of Kamakura easily!
We loved the old house with its charming room, objects, memorabilia and the cosy kitchen where to have breakfast together with other guests and the host. The location was great, in a quiet small street and close to the station. But the best part was the host Bushi. Kind, friendly and funny. He created a very special place with high ambitions of inclusivity, welcoming and sharing of stories and culture.
Very cozy and clean guest house. The lady who runs the place is very kind and charming. The breakfast is not much, but very delicious. Furthermore, snacks, ice cream and drinks are available. Really great service!
