Location and security (it's very secure) + the cozy bed! It's within 5 min. walking distance of the historic center, including the best restaurants. And it's right in the shopping district, if you're into that (I'm not). I did have trouble finding it (it's not where it is on Google Maps, but rather directly across from McDonald's), but one of the owners went outside and found me.

Dreamy top floor apartment right at the beach with good living spaces for a short family getaway. Loved the private elevator to get luggage upstairs. A charming bar for coffee or afternoon drinks is just a few feet away from the property and a great little Trattoria (Osvaldo) is around the corner for a wonderful dinner. We also loved the private parking space in a garage very close by. It was a quick walk (just a few blocks) from the property to a grocery store to get fresh fruits for breakfast. Owner was great with communication in how to access the parking and property - they also helped with lunch recommendations in Genoa and were very responsive to any questions we had.

This stay was an absolute treat. The hosts were so wonderful, they really made is feel like family. They recommended some local restaraunts that unfortuantly we didn't get to try. Thy were fun to communcation with eventhough it was mostly through google translate. The apartment was great, very roomy. It and had most everything we needed for cooking. We don't go out to eat often, so we need a well equiped kitchen. It has great views of the city below. Only a 5 minute walk to a small grocery store and a 10 minute walk to a large grocery store. The owners also run a mechanic shop down the street which is where we can park are car. Its a little bit of a walk to the shop, but very secure. We needed an oil change on our car and then engine light had been on for awhile which required a part on the engine to be replaced. They had it fixed the next day, this was a huge help for us.

The property was close to the cruise ship dock, grocery store, shopping mall and bus lines. The building was secure and had an elevator to the 2nd floor modern apartment. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedroom was comfortable with a door leading out to a lovely balcony with table and chairs. Lovely bathroom. Washing machine and drying rack. WiFi.
