Geeta has a dedicated chef available to prepare breakfast who is very sweet. The cooking was also brilliant. We were 4 of us and ordered completely different things and the chef lady (Sara didi) was more than happy to prepare everything with a big smile on her face. Will certainly return.

Super helpful and polite folks at the property. The location was perfect for me coz it's not in the heart of town - I prefer a bit of peace and quiet. The room had a common seating area on both the ground and first floor and the dedicated pantry (with a refrigerator) right next to the room was a huge plus.

I have booked this property in june. However, on 1st july 24, i called the hist for the location of the property. I came to know that property canceled by me on 30 June 24 .
I called up the host and I booked this property again on 1 July 24 from from booking.com, but when I we reached dharmshala, the host refused to give this property by saying that he has given the property someone other guest and offer us other property .
Due to we are new to dharmshala and heavy rain was there we have take other property where water issues at the property and other thing property is located almost 3-4 km from dharmshala resulting extra cost for transportation to dharmshala main market and other places.
When we received the confirmation from booking.com, how can he give the property to another guest .
If the host confirm the booking to another guest, then they should inform booking.com so that other guest can't book the property and booking.com.
By this, I feel cheated by booking.com and the property owner..
I my view my ratting to this property is zero.

It is a cosy home you can lay back and enjoy the beautiful mountain view. Perfect place to unwind and take a break.
Very easy to reach. We took a bus from delhi to palampur and got off at banuri and then its a brisk walk. The village is also very welcoming.
The hosts are a gem! Welcomed us with open arms.
The view from red cedar cottage was awesome. The food was good. The staff made all the efforts to make our stay comfortable. Being surrounded by nature was best.
Chain Singh ji and udham singhji will treat you like their own. The place is serene and cosy. A perfect place for anyone who wants to be away from the hustle bustle of the city.
The whole Red Cedar Cottage is beautifully done with high windows , beautiful view, glass ceiling and unique amazing washroom . It's a must visit.
