Disappointing! not same as shown in the pictures. The property is not well maintained the rooms were not clean, toilet was dirty. The locality is not good. We had to sleep in the mattress since there is no wooden bed in the Ac room.

The location is 10 on 10 . Also I really like the fact that they charged me the same amount shown in the app. Many guest houses and lodge charged u more and some will refuse to give u rooms at this low price but city Homestay didn't charge me extra for anything. Moreover they also helped in reaching places and ordering food. There are no gate issue and all . You will get all the keys for gates .
Location is near fancy Bazar, cruise booking center. Property is part of a beautiful Heritage bungalows. Caretaker Mr.Ramesh is extremely friendly , helpful and a fantastic cook. His aloo paranthas are heavenly.
We stayed 2 nights in the little bamboo cottage and it was a very pleasant experience!
Also we felt like home very quickly due to the kindness of Mr Ramesh and his staff. He helped us to find a good rental car company and he was very honest with us at all times.
The bamboo cottage is very cosy and simple but very comfortable. We fell in love with how it was made and the bed and pillows where good enough.
They provide a very nice breakfast as well as parking area.
Hilltop is a super charming place, wonderful people run it. i stayed in a bamboo cottage and loved it. area is quiet but you easily get to town and there's small shops close by. 7 min by car you can access brahmaputra river.
A very neat and cosy lodge in the heart of the city. Manger and staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Safe place to stay if you traveled alone or family.
Overall a very nice place to stay in Guwahati.
