We come here twice a year for our grandparents anniversary mass. Perfect location, walking distance to Letterfrack village. Would love if check out was a little later but its still manageable. The kids love the farm animals that are roaming freely during the day. We needed to book an extra night this time around and Carmel was very helpful in getting it organised. This cottage is stunning! It is located on a small and very beautiful and calm island, which can be reached by road. There is everything you can wish for in the cottage and the surroundings and views are so beautiful! The cottage even has a heatable bed, and a super comfy relax sofa. The perfect place to get away from the day to day stress and noises and to relax. From here you can do many trips and hikes (e.g. the diamond hill hike in Connemara Nationalpark). This place definitely counts to the most beautiful places I have been so far. Geraldine, the host is a very nice, friendly and helpful person. She provided us with a lot of valuable info about the surroundings and offered her help with everything. I can fully recommend this place! We had an amazing time!!

We loved this property, the location is superb the cottage is exactly what we wanted it has everything we needed for a lovely months stay including an electric blanket! Every window has an awesome view. We will return and recommend this sweet cottage.
This cosy cottage was a great escape from the larger cities we have been travelling through. We stayed from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day and the owners even had a decorated tree in the property for us. We felt right at home and had a relaxed Christmas. It is a little gem.
Fantastisc lovely house, well located in Connemara. Good pub and restaurant around. We can take away good seafood and eat in front of the nice chimney! Lovely guest and very cosy house!
The Cill Cottage is a perfect escape from the noise and the hustles of the big city and very good located to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Connemara.
The warm welcome by the wunderful host Geraldine made the perfect start. We enjoyed the beauty of the little island Inishnee surrounded by sheep, the quite, the fresh air and coming "home" to the cosy cottage every day. It was very well equipped, very clean and had a very comfortable bed! We didn't miss anything. And the view from the rooms is amazing.
Amazing and quiet place, lovely countryside, convenient accomodation in a traditional cottage, very pleasant owner. All went well and we had a great time exploring Conemara. We can only recommend, indeed!
Staff are absolutely wonderful! they make this already cosy, full of charm place, truly homelike. we also really enjoyed walking in the garden around the house. despite the small size of the hotel, there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their quiet moment be it by a fireplace or in the reading room, or at the outdoor seating. decor full of curiosities and mementos of the past, so grateful to the owners for sharing it in such a beautiful and thoughtful way with the guests.
