We had a lovely few days in Carrick-on-Shannon. The townhouse was very central and really big. The terrace was a massive bonus! Fiona (the host) was very helpful and gave us a lot of info re local places to eat and things to do. We will definitely be back 😊
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Very cosy house in centre of town.Comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated. Close to great food in lovely setting in The Shed Distillery. Two pubs we enjoyed were The Corner and especially Monica's. The chipper close by a good one. Beautiful countryside with Canal and Lake walks.
Archies is the perfect spot if u want the dining experience in The Shed without the hassle of driving home. It was cosy and welcoming with everything we needed ❤
Perfect spot in 'the middle of nowhere' to go relax with the family. Cute cottage with a cosy fire, good beds, beautiful environment and superfriendly hosts. Will definitely go back.
