Fabienne and Roland were very helpful with our enforced late arrival time, leaving the accommodation open pending our arrival (01.00!). The instructions for gaining entry were clear, and our breakfast items were waiting for us. We found the beds were very comfortable, and water was always hot for showering and dishwashing. For those who are looking for a place in the country, this may be your bag; nevertheless, it is a conveniently short run to the main road (N71). Overall we feel that the price we paid was reasonable, particularly as we had the benefit of two separate rooms, but it has to be said that the property is in need of a re-furb, particularly as regards the shower arrangement. It pains us to be critical, with such pleasant hosts as Fabienne and Roland, but future guests need to be aware of the shortcomings as outlined below.

The location, host, the cottage itself. Everything was great. Spotless rooms and a fridge with food for the breakfast plus freshly made bread. The host was super friendly, he showed us cows and had a nice little chat with us. Really friendly dogs on arrival:). The cottage was very cosy, warm and equipped with everything you might need even for longer stays.
The lodge has an amazing view, the outdoor hot tub is a gem with all the privacy that is needed. The lodge has all you need. Complimentary scones were available on our arrival. We travelled with our dog and the host prepared the lodge also for our beloved furry providing a bed, a bowl and some treats. There is an attention to details that goes beyond all the positive expectations. It is highly recommended if you are looking for a break from your routine and you want to relax in a 5 stars lodge.
We had great communication and a warm welcome from the host. The cottage was clean, cosy and the perfect base to explore West Cork 100% recommend tremendous value.
The cabin is beautiful. It was so cosy and clean, and the beds were exceptional. The shower was also great and the kitchen had everything you could need.
Ravens Oak is such a beautiful place so idyllic and peaceful. The apartment is so cosy with everything you could need for your stay. The beds are really comfortable and there's a lovely sitting room to relax in. The kitchen is great for a family to prepare a meal together and look out at the lovely scenery while you have your meal together. The owners are lovely people and met us on arrival to show us how everything worked.
This place was perfect! A nice small cottage in the middle of the farm land. Next to you there are some animals which really gives you the farmland vibe. The cottage was nice and clean, very cozy with the fireplace in the middle. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Great place if you want to disconnect as there is no WiFi (which was a great plus for us!)
Lovely cottage accommodation in gorgeous West Cork. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. The cottage was ideal to accommodate two couples over a weekend. Cozy and private, it was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen and two spacious bedrooms at our disposal.
It is a self catering Cottage. The hosts were excellent very friendly made us very welcome. They had lovely homemade bread bread and snacks on arrival. I would recommend this beautiful Cottage 100%. It was so cosy and warm.
