The property was very homely/comfortable. I loved the "stable type" front door. The "welcome" beers in the fridge when we arrived were appreciated and enjoyed. Eileen is a very friendly host. We really enjoyed out stay
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
It was very cosy with lovely bedrooms, a comfy couch, and a nice, big open kitchen but the best was the magnificent view. The hosts were really very friendly and we felt very welcome. The music in de local pub and the beautiful cliffealks at Bellycotton, Waterford and Ardmore made our holiday complete.
Nice property in a good location for a base around south east Ireland. Spacious house with good outdoor space for the dog. Very useful covered passage for storing coats, boots etc. Very warm and cosy. Within walking distance to a lovely sandy beach and a short drive from Ardmore which was a nice seaside town with lots of interesting places to visit. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.
We had an AMAZING view of Ardmore Bay. The room was very comfortable & we loved our fireplace. A beautiful place to watch the wonderful, Irish weather blow by.
Located within few minutes walk from the Whiting Bay beach and short distance drive from Ardmore, Youghal and Dungarvan. The property comes as self contained unit with 2 bedrooms, spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen as well as private entrance. The host, Helen is very professional and kindly greeted us on arrival with tea and biscuits. Very peaceful place in the countryside.
breakfast was fantastic - the food was gorgeous, breakfast cooked fresh and we had a lovely view of the sea. We used the hot tub and swumming pool before breakfast - that was extra special even though it was cold outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We went for a lovely cliff walk after breakfast. Would love to come back again
Calm surroundings, friendly staff, beautiful pool with outdoor jacuzzi, lovely sauna and steamroom, gorgeous cliff walk beside the hotel, lovely food, great rooms with fantastic views of the sea and Ardmore beach down the road. Great breakfast and dinners.
Very cozy place with comfortable quite big, clean rooms. Beautiful garden area with coffee table and so pretty tea room inside! Breakfast was tasty and with the ability to choose what would you like (porridge, fruits, pastry, irish breakfast etc)!
