We enjoyed the location (although a bit far from the main road), because it was quiet and private, with a beautiful view. The rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed. The garden is extremely well kept with various flowers and shrubs and the running water from the pool create a very relaxing atmosphere. All in all, it was a great experience, nearly perfect. Would book again in the future.

We really loved Villa Chrysallis. The view, the heated pool, the shaded garage, the spacious rooms, the styling and the fully equipped (upper) kitchen. The house is very close to ideal for a company of two families; there is pleny of room to have some time for yourself as well as enjoying the house together. We also really liked the rural atmosphere and the small villages close by, while it was also possible to be at the beach in a 10-15 minutes drive. A car (or two cars) are necessary to get around, but for us that was no problem. All at all, it was a very pleasant house at a fairly unexpected location.

Beautiful, spotless villa with fabulous views and much needed Aircon. Outdoor pool and covered bbq area were excellent and well used. Very spacious for a large family and very peaceful due to the villa's remote location. Friendly family always available on WhatsApp and who very kindly allowed us to store our luggage at their hotel in georgioupolis due to a late flight. We didn't hire a car just used taxis. The nearest place to eat and drink is georgioupolis and is a car journey away. We visited Kournas Lake, lots of fabulous tavernas and bars in georgioupolis and the beaches are stunning. Amazing villa,amazing holiday.

Clean and stylish place to stay. Great location for trips to Hania, Rethymno, villages in the mountains and gorges. The kids enjoyed the pool and the host brought us local wine, olive oil, honey and mountain tea and was always helpful when there was a problem.
