It’s so very beautiful and comfortable. Everything is new and in excellent condition with lots of extras that the host has thought of to make our stay even more special. He was very friendly and hugely responsive to our needs, there for us upon check in to answer any questions we might have and give suggestions on restaurant, grocery stores and places to visit. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim but it’s a gorgeous pool and long enough for lap swimming plus a nice outdoor bbq facility. Private and in decent area , easily accessible to old town Chania and major highway leading east and west.

The house was immaculate, we were greeted by the host and family who couldn't have made us feel more welcome, fresh fruit, olive oil, local honey and Raki was in a basket on the table and water in the fridge. The view from the back balcony over looked the port and the front terrace was great to sit and relax in the evening. The beaches 5 mins away were quiet and perfect for a dip in the sea. The host was easy to contact and quick to reply to us. Just a wonderful place to stay would definitely go back.

What didn't I like?! This is Cretan hospitality at its finest! (Being raised on the island, I should know). The flat was spanking clean, cold water was waiting for us in the fridge together with all sorts of extra amenities! Plenty of towels and linen in excellent condition, comfy beds and sofas and a peaceful balcony overlooking the family's veggie plot ideal for morning coffee. We had the most wonderful week. The villa It’s quiet and secluded with amazing pool. It is stylish and comfortable and equipped with everything you might need and more! The garden and pool are perfect. Several amazing terraces. We can’t wait to come back! George and his mother were amazing, they spoiled us with traditional Greek food, fruits, juices.

The location of the Villa Alexia is fantastic if you want to stay at the same time in quiet country side, but yet close to center of a vibrant town. The house is exactly like on pictures and is even better than the pictures. There is no better place to read a good book than in the hammock under olive trees. I am going to miss that! Also hostess Maria is a gem. Very thoughtful and friendly. Recommend to ask some local tips from her! And the Boureki that she made to our family was soooo goooood! Definitely recommend that place and when next time in Chania area will stay there!
