The location was perfect for where we needed to be, Fiskardo. A 10 minute drive to the harbor. Local beach just about 8 minutes by car. The villa is beautiful and the view from the upper balcony is gorgeous. The hosts were so kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend Villa Ektama.

Brand new, fully refurbished cottage with more than everything you need. The house is fully stocked up with little things that you might not even have at home - really well thought out! When you travel around the island and see these little charming houses you might wonder what is it like to stay/live in one - well, Abuelita is a chance to experience the traditional way of living in a modern way. Before visiting Kefalonia I was tempted to look for sea view, next to the beach, etc. but after a few days I realized I need a calm, secluded place where you feel relaxed and most importantly quiet. You are looking at the sea the whole day anyways and you need a car for the island regardless of where you stay. Nonetheless, Abuelita is located at very high-end area, yet in a small dead-end street which makes it pleasantly peaceful. Very good restaurants nearby, picturesque Fiskardo is a stone throw away, parking space is available in front of the house as well. Simply wonderful place! Last but not least, the hosts are super attentive and make sure you are have everything you need at all times :)

We were delighted , as we wanted a rural escape close to amenities. Just a short drive of 15 minutes we found 5 beaches with crystal clear waters,ideal for Snorkeling.We were a 15 minute walk from 2 Tavernas and a shop, and a 10 to 15 minutes drive from another 6 great Tavernas. Fiskado is a beautiful little Harbour town,where you can get a Ferry to other Islands. The Cottage was immaculate and Peter was a great host, and we will certainly be back.
