Our host George provided us with fresh eggs from his own hens and we only had to ask if we needed more. It was great to hear the roosters crowing and the chickens clucking in the morning as we were in a rural setting but only a 700metre walk from town. We had a view over this to the port. George picked us up on arrival and dropped us back when our time to leave came which was all tooooo soon.

We stayed in mid September and had the top floor apartment. The balcony size is fabulous and the view amazing. You are positioned in the quiet corner of a horse shoed shaped bay. The main port for the ferry and yachts are on the opposite side of the bay. Near to the apartment are the fishing boats, lovely restaurants and the beach and is quieter. The owner is called Nicolas and owns one of the mini markets in the Port. He met us at the property and showed us around, a nice man who has lived all his life on the island. When we left we handed him back the keys as his shop is adjacent the ferry. The room is spacious and is well equipped. Major plus for us was the washing machine that allowed us to freshen towels and clothes up mid holiday. The pictures are a true representation of a lovely apartment.

Accomodation was perfect for us. Room was great and we loved the outside space. Katapola is wonderful and this is in a perfect position for access to beaches and also tavernas. Damian was very responsive and helpful. We found some good snorkeling nearby which was a bonus.

Also the apartment opens with a pin, which is very convenient in order to not loose any keys!
It also has a nice mountain view and it is in the heart of chora really close to 2 parking lots
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Α plain though comfortable and clean basic room.
No extra amenities, however best value in the cozy quiet neighborhood of Katapola.
I would definitely return during my next trip there.
A really cosy house just steps away from the delightful port harbour. Two lovely bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs with comfortable living space and another bathroom downstairs. WiFi was excellent. Outdoor spaces were wonderful with chairs and table provided on all three terraces. Host is brilliant and we loved the welcome treats: wine, eggs, water, butter, jam, cheese, yoghurt, biscuits, fruit, olive bread….!
Highly recommend a stay here.
Pension Titika is a little gem. I stayed for a week and had a really lovely time listening to the gentle waves lapping on the beach from my little terrace. The room was comfortable and cosy and I felt very much at home. The pension is in a really great location with everything you need close by and Katapola itself is a really charming and laid back spot with nice tavernas, great walking trails and genuinely lovely people. Titika is a really lovely host and it was a true pleasure to meet her and stay in her pension. I will be back -)
The room was cozy with a beautiful big balcony overlooking the small harbor and the bay. We particularly appreciated the super friendly and very helpful owner.
The feeling of being in the peaceful countryside but only an easy 10 minutes walk from the centre with shops and restaurants. Large terrace/ balcony with wide country/ hill views. Gorgeous floor tiles throughout and palest creamy-pink walls so much better than stark white.
Lovely cosy, clean,well furnished room, the best bathroom we've had in Greece so far. Nice to have a proper shower with screen although still.hand held shower head.
Comfy beds, nice linen. Great quiet area and lovely little garden area, coukd hear cockerels felt rural. 5 min walk to the port. Ignore mosns about steps, there's a handful then you go along a flat path. No problem walking there at all unless you've a disability. Amorgos and Katapola are lovely and we had a great stay and would return. Very relaxing.
