Wonderful place to spend quality time with family. Owners keen to help and guide you for a pleasant stay. In our case tried to get organised with all the necessary groceries etc. Property provides all the very basic you need. Don't expect show off luxury. Highly recommended for families with children or even couples who need some privacy . Definitely will try to visit again!

I loved the calmness of the place.The house was indeed clean. I didn't feel like I was in Athens it was a sweet escape.

This was our last stop on this 20-day trip to Greece, as my husband had a fall before we left and needed to be hospitalized for an emergency surgery, so it ended up being just me, my mother, and my two children. What touched me most was that when I spoke to Malia about this difficulty, she enthusiastically took on the task of being our driver and tour guide, and on the first day took us around the nearby village of Marathon, the birthplace of the famous Battle of Marathon, and then to the supermarket, where she had actually prepared a very large amount of food and drinks for us in the fridge beforehand. In the evening she took us to a beach a little further away and ate the most famous Greek tacos in the area, which we were embarrassed that we didn't get to eat until the last two days! On the second and third day she similarly took us to another, much better beach nearby which had finer sand, turquoise blue water and was less crowded but lacking in everything, the locals stayed all day. Malia was also kind enough to order takeaway for us to save us money and get local specialties, which was really touching. The amazing villa is two-story, it's an old stone house with a lot of character. It's especially worth mentioning that each house is decorated differently and with decorative details everywhere, embroidered tablecloths, cross-stitched situations, braided rugs and so on, as well as little things that Malia has collected from all over the world, which all add to the cozy atmosphere of the house. The location is perfect, a five or six minute drive to the beach if you rent a car. The villa is quiet, the yard has beautiful delphiniums and unknown cactus-like plants, and the hammocks and swings are a favourite of the kids. It's not a popular tourist destination, but it was our favourite place on the trip. No crowds or souvenir stores, just a welcoming landlord and a beautiful house that allowed us to live the vacation life of a local.

The apartment we stayed at was roomy yet very cosy, and spotlessly clean, so we felt right at home. It is furnished to comfortably accommodate families of up to six people, with plenty of beds, sofas, and two large dinner tables (one in the main room, one in the winter garden), plus a terrace area with outside seating, beach chairs, and swinging chairs. The kitchen is well-equipped (stove, oven, microwave, large fridge, kettle), providing enough plates, cutlery, and utensils to allow cooking your own meals (or ordering in without having to eat straight out of the containers). Clotheslines on the porch make it easy to dry beach towels and bathing suits over night. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked flawlessly. Soap, shampoo, towels, and extra blankets are provided. For guests travelling with children, there are ample toys available for all ages, including board games. There are several apartments on the property, but they are generously spaced, so each of them is nicely secluded. Parking is right outside. The surrounding area is quiet, peaceful, and—according to the host—absolutely safe (which matches our experience). A 5-minute drive gets you to the beach. Communication with the host, George, was swift and easy. Ahead of our stay, he made sure we would have no trouble finding the place, and was very accommodating regarding the check-in time. When we arrived, he welcomed us with open arms and fresh fruit (of which he provided more the next day!), showed us around the apartment and property, and helped us settle in. George is one of the warmest, most hospitable people we have had the pleasure of encountering during our journeys. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable about the area (his beach recommendation was spot-on), and happy to make his guests’ stay as pleasant and special as possible, always with a smile. Ioannis was great. He answered all our questions very fast whenever we had one. The housekeepers were also very friendly people. The house was very well thought out for family vacations - the rooms, they garden, the pool, a/c, kitchen.. worked great for us. The details are very well thought out!

Liana was an exceptional hostess! Everything was great! The place is even better than the pictures...very clean ..cosy and ideal for getaway! Liana was extremely polite and prompt on her replies and she made our stay unforgettable!! Totally recommended!
