This is a gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location. It's nestled between two lovely villages both with great restaurants. The beach was just a short (10/15 minute) drive away and we could access the west coast and the south coast really easily by car. The apartment was super clean and comfortable and the stand out feature is the large terrace running the length of the place overlooking a stunning view - we enjoyed using the telescope provided to view the moon each night. Zafeiria made our stay particularly special. She gave us home grown fruit, vegetables, olive oil and wine and was extremely helpful with every question or help we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The villa is beautiful. Located in a village just outside of Gavalohori. The linens were luxurious and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Check-in was very easy. The location is great. It was just 7 minutes from the beach of Almyrida. The local taverns were fabulous and a mere 3 minute drive away.

The host, Manolis, contributed greatly to make our stay very nice. Quick to answer all questions, kind and generous (gave us cake, his own eggs etc). Vamos is a perfect centre spot for walking; we made four great walks in the surroundings following the new Apokoronas/Chania trail network. The house is new with nice decorations and with much care taken to environmental protection.

Really nice place to stay with family. In walking distance to center of very nice little village with small shops and restaurants. The owner was very caring. It's a great place to stay if you want to get a bit of the feeling of Crete. Customer service in English was also great via the phone.
