The view from the lodge was really nice. The staff was also super nice, welcoming, caring and attentive to our needs. The breakfast included coffee, tea and was good. We really appreciated the rooms which had a bathroom each and included a little fridge. It was also less than 10 minutes by car from Cape Coast Castle and the restaurant that`s near it ( It is also at a walking distance).

A cosy and homely environment. Great value for money and location next to the castle and beach front. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and caring. The host, Evan is down to earth, always interacting and checking in with his guests. The chef is attentive to your needs and also asks for feedback. He cooks a range of good quality and freshly prepared dishes - try to order in advance (at least 30 mins).

Ivans, Nancy, Robert and the rest of the team were absolutely fab at making me feel at home at Orange Beach. The place is brilliant for solo travellers, with a cosy family feel where everyone gets chatting in the restaurant. The breakfast was brilliant, dinner was great too but make sure to order in advance as it’s Ghana timings :) The dorm room was clean and as expected for the price I paid. Would happily come again!

The staff attend to your every need. Excellent service. My family and I really enjoyed our time in Cape Coast and it was thanks to the staff at Rans Hill Lodge.

It's not a mistake. It's called a botel instead of a hotel because it's a botanical hotel. It has a lovely gazebo in a botanical setting for 2 people. Very romantic. The entire restaurant area is surrounded by a Croc lake with 19 crocodiles, or so we're told. The oldest crocodile is the largest and called saddam hussein as he terorises the others crocodiles. The restaurant area is lovely and serene unless the music is blaring on the speakers

The place is clean and cozy, and the location is beautiful and very central. Staff are very nice and helpful, but not very professional.
