The landlord had double booked and we didnt get to stay here. He did put us in another house in a nearby village which was ok but not what we booked. We were still charged full price, booking.com told us to contact the landlord directly to complain about this. The landlord has not replied so we have been left very disappointed.

We recently stayed at this holiday cottage and had a wonderful experience. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I ate in the pub downstairs where there was a choice of freshly prepared pub food. The hotel is situated in a small village within easy distance of Strata Florida Abbey and Cors Caron NNR and beautiful countryside.
Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful location. Totally private, despite there being another hut at the same location. The hut was carefully laid out to ensure you had the maximum space and still had everything you needed. The hot tub was a lovely bonus to come back to after a day exploring.
We would definitely recommend a stay here and plan to come back in the colder weather to make the most of the wood burner.
The little touches like the welcome pack. The breathtaking views. The peaceful surroundings & relaxing hot tub. The sheep, lambs & cows greeting us everyday was a lovely bonus. The perfect location.
Very clean and well equipped cottage. Log burner great in the lounge but it doesn't half eat logs quickly. Lovely feature though. Having two toilets/bathrooms is good although if you pick the big bedroom the loo is downstairs but that's not really an issue. All in all a great place to stay.
We were greeted by a friendly staff member who swiftly checked us in. Nice cosy room in a beautiful area. Very reasonable price for the night. I would definitely stay again :)
