Had a wonderful stay at the owls hoot, a great couple of nights away with my girlfriend especially with having the hot tub and sauna to enjoy, there are other houses around you but it feels totally private as the garden isn't overlooked by the neighbours.
Definitely recommend and would love to stay again especially as it's fairly local to me.

We had a lovely week during the late July heatwave. The host Jo greeted us and was lovely. The cottage was clean, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was great for trips inland or to the coast and had a couple of good pubs around a 25-minute stroll away. We made good use of the Bbq facilities and stargazers will appreciate the dark skies. All in an excellent week.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Communication with the owners was fantastic; prompt, helpful and very accomodating.
The Cottage was exactly as the pictures intimated and very well presented with a beautiful welcome pack on arrival.
Staff were excellent in attending to the quality of our short stay. The room was decorated and equiped to a high standard. The restaurant personnel were attentive with the Chef providing an excellent dining experience. We are very much looking forward when we next travel into Norfolk and are able to appreciate again the hospitality and generous attention of staff. Its central location enabled our easy access to both English Heritage and National Trust sites and experiences.
The hotel was very accommodating in allowing us to arrive a little later than the normal booking in time. The staff member on duty was very welcoming and showed us to our room. He was equally hospitable in the morning when we went to sign out. The room was fabulous and made our stay a real experience. Both the chaise long and the bed were beautiful, wonderfully presented and very comfortable. It made for a very romantic stay. The bathroom was very spacious and well lit.
