Having two ensuite bathrooms was great. The cottage was very spacious. The location was great - both in itself and for our particular requirements - we were attending a wedding in Stowmarket and it was very convenient for this. The owner was very friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. We liked the non-intrusive approach, whilst it was reassuring to know they were on hand if the need arose - the ideal combination.

The Owlhoot Annexe is by far the best accommodation we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We have stayed in many places around the world. Helena and Tony are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble and the place is simply outstanding. We will stay there again.

We had a fabulous time at The Red Shed and only wish we could've stayed longer! Everything is exactly as it appears in the photos and just charming. Thoughtfully arranged and immaculately presented accommodation and a beautifully maintained garden. Loved sitting outside enjoying a cuppa and book with the aroma of lavender and hum of bees in the air! Top notch communication from Rebecca - welcoming and available if needed without being intrusive. Would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return in the cooler months to cosy up in front of that log burner!
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Everything was very clean very well thought out lodges. We had lunch as well which was very good. I am very fussy with my breakfast but this was the best I have had in a long time.
The room was lovely
The bar did not offer a cosy, comfortable area to sit and relax for a drink
The restaurant was lovely but offered limitations on the menu
Lovely dining room, light and airy.
Good selection, but would have liked fresh fruit and yogurt option also
The room was comfortable and cosy.
Ideal establishment for a single lone female traveller.
Didn’t serve meals on the Monday of arrival, neither did anywhere in location either so a local petrol station provided sustenance until breaki!
Evening meals were good though .
