Time and Tide, hotel in Winterborne Kingston

Time and Tide is located in Poole, 1.6 km from Poole Harbour, 9.2 km from Sandbanks, as well as 10 km from Bournemouth International Centre.

Five Stars. A comfortable, modern apartment, quiet but right in the heart of the High Street with its shops and cafes below and a few minutes walk to the quay. Spotlessly clean, well appointed and the welcome pack including a bottle of wine, crisps and nuts was a lovely surprise, as was the beautiful leafy tree right by the window.  Enjoyed our stay and if we lived in the UK we would definitely be back.

We did not like the location at all it was noisy, neighbourhood was awful with shouting swearing and drunkeness from the people in the block opposite. The bathroom had mould , loose electrical plates, rusty balcony furniture and rotting timbers so unable to use it. Dripping taps in the kitchen and bathroom shower taps were stiff to turn on and shower head dripped. We cleaned some of the scuff marks off the walls , Balcony windows needed cleaning. We were kept awake by banging and shouting at night then early morning noise from drilling and banging from building works and the neighbours from 5.45am

We welcomed very warmly by Mark who showed us to our room which was very spacious and also had a separate sitting area as well as a very spacious bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. The snug bar was very cosy and we were made to feel very welcome by the locals. The beer was kept very well and the food in the restaurant was also excellent. The owner and his wife also had time to chat and make you feel very relaxed. All in all a great inn, with comfy rooms, great beer and food and exceptional staff. Thanks guys we will return.

Situated in a very quaint and quiet area. Cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Big room - actually had a spare room with a sofa and single bed in so with the en suite it felt almost like a little apartment. Bathroom was really nice. Large walk in shower nice hot water. Also nice to have a hairdryer and had plenty of towels and a spare blanket. Real nice to have a mini fridge which included cold water and fresh milk.
