Beautiful old thatched roof pub, so much character!! We stayed in additional rooms off the pub (would have loved to have booked early enough to got a room in the actual pub) The owners where extremely friendly & the evening meals in the pub restaurant were 10 out of 10, huge portions of gorgeous food and breakfast was also of high quality, The location on Exmoor was breath taking, lovely place to stay & not too far from the Tarr Steps, which is definitely worth a visit.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating, even though we arrived a bit late - keeping the kitchen open a little late for us and saving us a cosy table in the bar. They chatted with us a little after dinner and shared some local recommendations. The room was bit, quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Easy to park nearby even though we arrived late.
