Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The location was great - the town was charming - and the walk along the Wye River was lovely. Our hosts, Tony and Wendy were very friendly and helpful - helping us find accomodations in Snowdonia for the following day. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.
We stayed in the cuckoo lodge which is larger. Also the hot tub seats 4 people
It is in a beautiful setting and very peaceful. The lodge had everything you could need. Also had a lovely welcome pack.
Would stay again.
The lodge was very clean and comfortable. Had full kitchen facilities which made it feel very homely. The hot tub was nice and cosy even more so with the cold nights we had throughout our stay
Excellent food both evening meal and breakfast, lovely and friendly owners, large bedroom, modern and clean. Everything you could ever ask for in a cosy pub.
