Lovely place to stay in a beautifully quiet location. Tian was very helpful and the cottage was spotlessly clean. We could walk our dog in the field attached, which was brilliant. We were staying to attend a family party nearby and this was the perfect place. Very comfortable beds and good sized bathroom.

Pippa and Stephen were great hosts. They helpfully suggested places that we could walk, and provided historic details about the amazing property, grounds and surrounding area. We were provided with a lovely cooked breakfast, with sides of fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal and toast. Our room was on the end of the house. It was spacious, had a comfy queen bed and ensuite shower, and looked out over the gardens. The toilet was next-door. Wifi was available via a mobile hotspot, which worked perfectly well. We were able to do a very enjoyable 10-mile circular walk out from the house that mostly avoided roads. Recommended.

The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We felt we were made to feel very important, they wanted very much for us to enjoy our stay, which we certainly did. The rooms were excellent, the breakfast was delicious and generous.
This 200 year old farmhouse is set amidst beautiful countryside on a beef farm, just off the A303 and Ilminster, near Chard. We have something to suit everyone with a mix of self catering & B&B.

Breakfast not included but my host left sliced bread, jams, butter, tea, coffee and milk for me. Good supply of cutlery, bowls, plates and glasses etc. Liked the fridge on site and microwave.
