Piggery Cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Wigton, 42 km from Buttermere, 45 km from Askham Hall, as well as 34 km from Whinlatter Forest Park. The property is around 35 km from Cat Bells, 41 km from Brougham Castle and 46 km from Whinfell Forest. The property is non-smoking and is located 33 km from Derwentwater.

This was our second stay at Piggery Cottage in 8-months, and there is a reason why we return. Simply it is a great dog friendly, clean and welcoming cottage, in a good location for exploring the North Lakes and the Eden Valley, with a lovely host, where nothing is too much trouble. On arrival, there is always a welcome pack of wine and goodies along with a home baked cake and every morning the resident Golden Retriever comes and says good morning. just an all round great place to stay.

Was very cosy and staff were really lovely. Has that old feel to it, some might say dated, but everywhere was spotless and the food was great.
