Beautiful converted barn with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break with gorgeous views, local walks and a hot tub to enjoy. Lovely homely feel and the lounge, dining and kitchen area being upstairs is a great design to appreciate and take in the view over the reservoir, rolling countryside and the alpacas enjoying themselves in front of the property. Just ideal. The alpaca experience we did one day also it was fabulous. Clare was so lovely and very knowledgeable.

The property was extremely clean and tidy and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing week away in the Peak District. The location was great with good walking trails nearby, as well as being far away from any main road. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax in a cosy private garden area with lighting. 100% would recommend and the alpaca experience was the cherry on the cake.

We absolutely loved our stay at Basin Cottage. Location was superb as close to several hikes (around only 20mins travel) and we enjoyed Whaley Bridge's local pubs. The cabin was also outstanding. Clean and comfortable and everything you need. The hot tub was a class bonus. The host was very helpful and only a text away.

The cottage was fantastic, it was cute, cosy and the decor was amazing! The location is lovely with the walk along the canal and the Tesco superstore so close. Its the perfect little cottage for a romantic getaway. It’s also a short car journey to Buxton for a bigger range of restaurants to dine out. It was great that there was space for parking too. We would definitely return here 😊
