This was our second stay at Piggery Cottage in 8-months, and there is a reason why we return. Simply it is a great dog friendly, clean and welcoming cottage, in a good location for exploring the North Lakes and the Eden Valley, with a lovely host, where nothing is too much trouble. On arrival, there is always a welcome pack of wine and goodies along with a home baked cake and every morning the resident Golden Retriever comes and says good morning. just an all round great place to stay.

It’s a characterful converted barn with a large comfortable bedroom with the bathroom off it. It has an open plan living accommodation on the upper floor with a compact kitchen area which had everything we needed for self catering. There is a large lawned garden for communal use.
