Lovely Location in isolated countryside. Main bar area charming- other areas are cold and soulless. Beer selection fine, but cheap supermarket wines being used. Food is average, quality.

There's not enough space to write what we love about this place. Such a lovely cottage in a fabulous location and our dog loves the field out the back. Can't beat a log fire either

The barn was beautiful and accommodating. the host was so lovely and considerate, left us bread and milk and a little information package about what was around!! Had a smart tv with Netflix and Amazon prime, and bbq and hot tub. All AMAZING value for money. We watched the stars whilst in the hot tub. Well facilitated kitchen and cosy sofa area. Plenty of places before the country lane and a 10 min drive to the golden retriever experience. I know for the next time we will book for a few more nights than just the one!

Ideal base for exploring both the coast & exmoor. Cottage is beautiful, exceptionally clean and cozy decor with everything you could need for a home away from home. Amy was especially helpful and accommodating leaving a moses basket, changing mat & baby bath seat upon learning we were bringing our 3 month old baby.

Warm, cosy, friendly inn set in beautiful countryside, but handy for for the coast as well. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and comfy, and although it was just a quick shuffle downstairs to the bar, it was also very quiet. The food was delicious and good value, and the portions were huge. And we finished third in the pub quiz too! 😀
