Great location, comfortable, not too expensive for a single person. The owners live next door and were very responsive if I had a question. I even got a nice Easter bunny from the daughter.

Loved our stay here. The Bothy is right on the water. We watched ganets diving for fish and an otter swam past morning and night. Beautiful views across the Loch, great location for exploring this stunning isle. Although the room is small, the host has set the bed high so suitcases can slide under the bed. It worked so well that we didn’t feel tight for space at all. The little kitchenette has all we needed. I would love to be able to come back and stay longer. Donald was a friendly and happy host too. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

The location of the cottage is absolutely fabulous! Set right next to the Black Houses, close to the beach, at the start of the cliff walking path. The community shop is easily reached by car... The house is wonderful, cozy, spacious, calming, peaceful and perfect for a group of 4-6 travelers. The photographs in the house are very special bringing the outside to the inside and the pictures of the past connect right with modern comfortable times. The kitchen has everything you need, the stove is fabulous. From the windows you can see amazing sunsets and cute sheep. Highly recommended!

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The location is exceptional, just a small stroll to cliff beach and a mile or two from Valtos and Reef which is the best to head to on a warm day if you're brave enough to for a dip into the sea.
The cottage itself has three good size bedrooms with really comfy beds, one downstairs and two upstairs.
The owner of the property is really nice and she even had milk, bread, butter, bacon and other goodies in the cottage already for us, which was really helpful when we first arrived.
The cottage was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The location is fabulous and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach. The property has been recently renovated to a high spec and the owner's eye for detail is apparent throughout the cottage. We didn't expect such a generous hamper on our arrival. Thank you very much, Marie. We would definitely love to stay again!

From the minute we arrived with a friendly greeting by Dave, looked at our view from the Bothy, we knew we had found a little piece of paradise. Everything about our stay was special; location, the treats left for us, the beach, and the atmosphere. We had an absolutely amazing stay. We arrived when the weather had turned stormy, experiencing winds and rain not often seen when at home but we got settled into the property. It was cozy, comfortable with brilliant facilities. We couldn’t thank you more for the great time away.
Lovely welcome, all the facilities needed to be warm and cosy, comfy beds, amazing location and view. Kitchen very well-appointed. Great welcome packed appreciated by both adults and children. We also liked the fact the wifi is a bit moody - helped us to really switch off and appreciate the wonders of the area for a proper holiday!
The location is outstanding. The hosts even more so. Waking in the morning to the sound of waves on the white sand beach right outside your bothy is the best way to start a relaxing day exploring the island. The bothies are equipped with everything you need and if you’re missing something, Dave and Julie are there to help. We spent four nights there for our son’s 30th birthday and left with memories we’ll talk about for years. We could not recommend it enough.
