    Used to frequent the Lords a long time ago, when upmarket Country houses were not so ubiquitous. Overall I was happy to make this trip down Nostalgia lane. The grandeur makes you feel special, the location is perfect, with a gorgeous lawn area leading down to reed beds & a stream. Whiled away 2 hours drinking bubbly before a lovely meal

    The hotel had period charm with modern convienence which was a perfect combination for our short break. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The room, beds,and chairs were very comfortable and the view from our room over the front gardens was delightful. The public rooms were cosy and comfortable. The food was delicious and again the service was excellent.

    A really lovely picturesque country house hotel which has a very welcoming friendly feel. The rooms were beautifully dressed and maintained to a high standard. The staff were so attentive they operate as well run team and nothing was too much trouble. The food and level of service in the restaurants was exceptional whilst the fine dining tasting menu was truly an amazing experience. A fabulous stay to celebrate a birthday.

    We had a fabulous two night stay at the Lords of the Manor, which is set in the most beautiful countryside, with plenty of walks from the hotel. The staff are exceptional and very welcoming., nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and dinner in the à la carte were excellent.
