What a lovely little cottage! Me and my partner stayed here for a hiking weekend but we were so happy with the quality of the cottage! We will definitely be coming back here, it’s in such a perfect location with the waterfall trail and other trails within close walking distance! I would 100% recommended this cottage to anybody looking, it’s an excellent value for money and we loved it. Thank you Tony & Anna!!

Beautiful old cottage. Well appointed, quiet. The pub down the road was also fantastic- good solid food and well priced too. Amazing host. Went out of their way to help us do our laundry.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
rose cottage was the most peaceful of setting, surrounded by miles of open space and what a absolute delight the host was, kind, considerate & very friendly i would recommend to anyone whom wants a quiet few days in good company
Simply Delightful. We adored Rose Cottage and Emma the owner who was a fantastic host. We arrived and had tea in the garden summer house accompanied by Emma's homemade lemon drizzle cake. If you want peace, tranquility and rest this is the place. We would most definitely want to stay again.
A wonderfully quiet location but only a 5 minute walk from the village pub. Rose Cottage is a very traditional country accommodation with lovely proprietor and a wonderful full English breakfast. It was perfect for my one night stopover. I was even offered space in the garage to store my motorcycle overnight which was a lovely touch. The cottage sits well off the road and the private parking area is well away from prying eyes, so motorcyclists should be happy there.
A very warm welcome from our host, Emma. Greeted with tea and homemade cake on arrival. Room very clean and comfortable.
Accommodation was very homely and cosy.
Wonderful breakfast with lots of homegrown and homemade produce, the granola was delicious!
Absolutely delightful: all very pretty, stylish, superbly comfortable, spotless, calm, relaxing. Beautiful garden and orchard, fantastic views and countryside.
Wonderful breakfast, including the special touch with home-grown and homemade produce (jams, marmalade, granola, etc…)
Wonderful and helpful hostess: SO welcoming, warm, full of energy and generosity - especially the cosy fire and delicious home baked cake and tea that awaited us upon arrival!
What a great break, a true treat. We shall visit again - and for longer!
Absolutely amazing cottage with even more amazing and hospitable hosts. Emma is a fabulous host who will go above and beyond to ensure that your stay at the cottage is both comfortable and memorable.
The cottage is easy to reach and is located in a beautiful and scenic location, close to the Ingleton Waterfalls. The views are truly breathtaking...you are literally a stone throw away from the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Would highly recommend
Emma is a true hostess, greeted with tea and cake on arrival in the classical cottage garden. The rooms are a good size, light and the beds and linen are very fresh and crisp. Breakfast was cooked individually and to order by Emma, excellent with the added bonus of homemade marmalade not to be missed.
The cottage was lovely, well presented, homely, comfortable and cosy. The scenery was amazing. The welcome was exceptional, the host was lovely and took our requirements into account, and the room was lovely. The breakfast was spot on. We felt very welcomed. We will definitely visit again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
What a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious, in nice cozy room. Beautiful view of surrounding countryside. We were greeted with tea and cake which was lovely. Host went out of her way to recommend surrounding hikes and local restaurants. Lovely garden to walk around in.
