The host Catherine was very kind and shared lots of toys for our kids which they loved. The location is very remote but beautiful and on a working sheep and cow farm. The walk to the cliffs is close by and you're close to some major attractions on Skye. Seeing the sheep and other farm animals from the kitchen window was special.

The property was spacious, clean and tidy. The surroundings were quiet and the view was amazing. Beach was in walking distance. The place provided peaceful and quiet rest even for our group of seven, including kids and elderly. The property owner kindly dropped by to make sure that we found everything ok and we knew how to operate all the kitchen equipment. We will definitely recommend The Old Inn in Staffin!

Such a well appointed home. All the amenities in a stunning location. The host was very quick to respond with a query and resolved a small glitch in the kitchen ASAP. We loved our stay.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
This is a beautiful cottage set apart in a lovely spot but within easy reach of Uig and the tourist attractions of Skye. It is peaceful and quiet and surrounded by wildlife.
location superb, peaceful and quite. owner left lots of generous touches I.e. shortbread, everything needed to make hot drinks, kindling and logs for the fire.
cottage very well equipped and cosy with lots of things to do during bad weather. books games, dvds, colouring books, etc.
Lovely, homey, cosy, spacious house in a quiet location. We loved the open fire, very well equipped kitchen, coffee filter machine, big, smart TV, comfortable bed and the dining area - nice bench! The location is great and close to the very well stocked supermarket Rankins in Uig. We loved the cottage, felt like home, cooked a lot and had a great relaxing time there!
Location was ok very rough driveway to the lodge
Breakfast was nice menu we did not find anything to suit our taste was not a great menu
Room was nothing like the photo not much room in it lovely velvet chair in it then a second cheap plastic chair not even small bottle of wine in fridge paid £259.00 was certainly not worth it
Even the bar at night not one candle lit on the table just was not worth the money
this was just fantastic. remote location but so beautiful. very ‘wuthering heights’. property is beautifully and sympathetically restored to a high standard. staff were great. room was lovely. dinner (prebooked) was great.
